Domain Name Support

If you ordered hosting from us but already have a domain name with another provider, you may wish to transfer the domain to us. Alternatively you will need to make the virtual connection to our hosting.

This is referred to as DNS redirection.

To do this simply log in to your admin area at your domain registrant and locate the tool to modify the DNS address or 'Name Servers'.

The correct nameservers (DNS) should be modified to reflect:

Primary: ns1.solarhost.co.uk
Secondary: ns2.solarhost.co.uk

Some domain providers use "A-Records" instead of the DNS settings above, if this is the case you should set the a-record to: 205.153.116.90

Save these settings and usually within 3 hours your site will be accessible and ready to go.

If you do not yet have your domain name you can order it from us and we take care of everything for you. Check if your domain is available today:
